Agafay: an experience near Marrakech
Agafay is a stony desert landscape near Marrakech, distinct from the Sahara dunes around Merzouga. It can suit visitors looking for an experience alongside a Marrakech stay. Check your chosen activity, transport and timing: camp photographs do not mean that dinner, quad biking or a camel ride are included in every enquiry.
Zagora: check the overnight route
Our published Zagora trip runs over two days and returns to Marrakech. It is a different route from Merzouga. Read the day-by-day programme and ask about the camp location, accommodation and time spent travelling. Choosing the shorter trip should be a choice about your schedule, not an expectation of identical scenery.
Merzouga: include it in a longer journey
Our published three-day Merzouga routes connect Fes and Marrakech in either direction. The finishing city matters if your hotel or flight is elsewhere. Ask which camp and room arrangement are proposed, which activities are included and how the travel days are organised.
